      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Team,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are unable to login to gaia and cli of the management server.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do we have any option to revert the older log from management .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have tried to install secondary mgmt server and changing the password from secondary mgmt , but still same issue .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have tried with centOS Live USB method but it also didn't work .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me if other option is available.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes , We haven't have expert mode password or admin account password for gaia OS. We are having same password for smaerconsole which is working fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But with the same password in CLI its saying access denied .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;FYI - we are one password for CLI and smartconsole.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Currently we are only having smartcosnole access of the management.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;As you still have SmartConsole access to your management you can use the &lt;A href="https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_Gaia_AdminGuide/Topics-GAG/Centrally-Managing-Gaia-Device-Settings.htm" target="_self"&gt;one-time script&lt;/A&gt; or &lt;A href="https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_Gaia_AdminGuide/Topics-GAG/Centrally-Managing-Gaia-Device-Settings.htm" target="_self"&gt;scripts repository&lt;/A&gt; function to send commands to the Gaia OS to read out the current configuration or even set a new password for an existing user or create a new user with a new password. &lt;A href="https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/API-CLI-Discussion/Scripts-Repository-Password-Reset/td-p/84616" target="_self"&gt;Other users&lt;/A&gt; successfully recovered their password access this way.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;In this case you need to go by the old &lt;A href="https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/General-Topics/How-to-recover-Gaia-Admin-password-on-VMware/td-p/40187" target="_self"&gt;Linux LiveCD&lt;/A&gt; method, that means to boot your gateway from a Linux LiveCD, such as Ubuntu, mount the Gaia partitions and recover your admin access this way.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;try this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- from the one-time script option:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - - run a "migrate export"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - - save gaia configuration to a file&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- then from the livecd copy the files to another location like an sftp server or thumb drive&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- after that fresh install, reconfigure using the save configuration as a baseline and then a migrate import on the new fresh installed environment&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We tried all possibly steps , but non of that worked for us.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Lastly we have promoted the secondary device as a primary and removed the non-working device .&lt;/P&gt;</description>
