Gaia portal "Site can't be reached" error

Hi,

I created a VM on VirtualBox of mng server, with CheckPoint image.

When I am trying to reach the WebUI GAIA portal, it says "Site can't be reached- connection timed out error".

Tried everything I could find on google and on this forum, can't find the problem.

What can I do to solve this problem?

Can you ping the IP you defined during Gaia installation?

No.

Also can't figure out why.

The ip default-gateway of the pc is -192.168.1.1 and the ip of the machine is 192.168.1.50

Do you have an idea why it happens?

Check the interface settings between vm and pc. You don't need default gateway between them.

Make sure the virtual adapter (nic 1/nic 2 ...) on pc is the correct one you have configured on vm. You can Google about vm communication and host pc.

At this level it's not something related to Gaia.
