    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;May be this is not the case for you but for me after I upgraded our management server to R80.30 it stopped to auto start vmtoolsd on boot. That is because vmtoolsd was missing in the list of services as confirmed by 'chkconfig' command.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If that is the case for you as well then the fix is to run 'chkconfig --add vmtoolsd' followed by 'chkconfig vmtoolsd on'&lt;/P&gt;

I am detecting vmwaretools version "Running, version:2147483647 (Guest Managed)" from my vm, but in vcenter it doesnt show me what IP addresses are assigned to the vm&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've already migrated to R80.40 and there this problem is fixed. And you can see assigned IPs in vCenter as well.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
