For what its worth, I even double checked in R82 cluster, its exact same thing, shows 254.

Hi All,

We are already running a cluster (R81.10) with default mac magic settings.

We are now moving to VSX and configuring new firewalls in VSX. When I run command cphapob mmagic. I don't get any output but when checking clusterXL in cpview. It says mac magic is configured with 254 value.
I see in some threads. mac magic is not used after R80.40. Do we need to worry about changing mac magic on R81.20?

You needed to set Magic MAC in versions prior to R80.40 when multiple clusters shared the same network segment.
This should not be required in current versions.
