How to monitoring history traffic with monitoring blade

Hi everyone,

I have a question about monitoring the history traffic with the monitoring blade, as far as I know when the monitoring is on, it will only monitor the system counter for history by default. but for traffic will be realtime monitoring.

I've tried adding a monitoring connection on the cluster gateway > monitoring software bar.

but when i try to change from real time to history, smartview monitor can't show data even at last hour.

Does anyone know what's missing or maybe there's a misconfiguration?

And another question is what exactly date or month the monitoring blade will keep history like a system counter? I can't find an explanation for this.

I've also add an capture for configuration that I did in my lab.

hello,

you refer to SmartView monitoring and I can suspect you have smth wrong configured, as I use that daily for some monitoring and both real-time and history works just fine:

(first screen was from real-time, while 2nd one was for last day)

PS: on history, we can see some data from the beginning of the machine installation, if we didn't wipe it during an upgrade

I appreciate Sorin for the attempt to show the feature is working but his filters are for system parameters whilst Aditya is asking about traffic history. Sadly this is also not working.

@PhoneBoy can you help us get some more insight into this feature and if it works? What is needed in order to allow traffic history *even with custom filters* as mentioned in the UI.
