Install Checkpoint Open Server on NUC device

Hi guys,

I want to install Checkpoint on NUC device. Is it possible to turning NUC device into a Checkpoint Firewall?

Which NUC product lines and versions are supported?
Are there any notes when installing Checkpoint on NUC?

Does any one here have any experience with the compatibility of this NUC hardware? Please help me some info.

Formally it is (probably) not supported. Supported machines are listed in the Hardware Compatibility List:

If you're interested in the small form factor look into Quantum Spark Appliance line.

Only servers on our HCL are supported, which does not include NUC hardware.
A better idea would be to buy a NUC with higher specs and run a hypervisor on it.
Install Check Point as one or more VMs.

I've recently switched to using Promox on my VM server, which is a Skull Canyon NUC from several years ago.
I know @the_rock swears by EVE-NG.
Both have free/community options.

@PhoneBoy Yes, I do swear by eve-ng, cause its the BEST, in my opinion 🙂
