    <description>then again maybe pops up the question why would you need the serial number?&lt;BR /&gt;All equipment is registered by the Mgmt MAC address within Check Point, also the licenses.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Every One.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have a&amp;nbsp; UTM-1 570 and i want to get the Serial no of the device.But i am not able to do that.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please suggest the CLI command to get the serial no of the unit.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>First of all, it would help if you had posted this in the correct space (should be Enterprise Appliances).&lt;BR /&gt;Given this is a UTM-1 570, it's highly likely this is running SPLAT, which I don't believe had a command to show the serial number.&lt;BR /&gt;Also, I recall some older appliances didn't have serial numbers burned into EEPROM or similar.</description>

      <description>You could use 'cpstat os'&lt;BR /&gt;This should give version info and info about the hardware, including serial number.&lt;BR /&gt;If that fails lookup the mac address of the Mgmt interface and look this up in the usercenter, there the serial number should also be mentioned.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;UTM 570 went completely out of support on&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;1-Apr-2017 - so regarding asset management, all we&amp;nbsp;could&amp;nbsp;do is recycle them, but not look at the serial... But maybe you want to play the serial number in the&amp;nbsp;lottery&amp;nbsp;?&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:"&gt;😁&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
