    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'd like to say that IPSec is pretty standard stuff now days so it may depend on what's important to you.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In general each type is interoperable with other vendors, yes some times there are issues.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Yes the different types can co-exist and the documentation talks to limitations / which takes precedence.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>IPsec - Check Point Question</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Checkmates,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am understand that IPSec is one of the open solution available on every firewall devices.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But i curious about IPSec adoption in the Check Point firewall, because sometimes i found some approach such as route based and domain based IPSec VPN. I have some questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What is the advantages or differentiators if I enable IPSec VPN in Check Point instead of in other brand?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Correct me if i am wrong, we can just enable route based VPN if the peers are not Check Point FW? Domain based only available if a peer is Check Point FW?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Can we enable both Domain based and Route based in the single Firewall?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
