Hi,

Its great to see that API has finally been added to VSX in R81
But after checking what API is actually added to VSX am somewhat disappointed.

It looks to me like you are still not able to add interfaces or routing with the API.
Please correct me if am wrong and looking at the wrong place.

Looks like the commands from vsx_util have been moved but not the commands from vsx_provisioning_tool. Probably next round.

Ye somewhat like that, but i mean you are also missing VSLS reconfiguration to move VS to other member, set priority etc.
So part of vsx_util has been moved but not all.

You are correct, these are VSX gateway APIs not VSX VS APIs.

Are there any plans to add such API within near future with a JFA or do we need to wait for R85 or something 😄 ?
Took a few years before even normal cluster was supported,

It's in the plans, yes, but not sure on the exact timeline.
In the meantime, you'll have to call vsx_provisioning_tool via run-script or similar.
Perhaps @Omer_Kleinstern can comment.

It is in the roadmap of the VSX team.

Calling vsx_provisioning_tool via run-script is a good option for now.

Official APIs for VSX are planned as part of R82 is my understanding.

Be aware that using run-script, logs any passwords you are using in the audit-log.
