It seems like the HCL hasn't been updated in a few years. Do we know when the HPE gen 11 boxes will be validated and documentation provided for their use as open servers?

Requests for specific Open Server hardware are handled as RFEs through your local Check Point office.
Our ability to support specific hardware relies on driver support in the underlying Linux kernel being available.
I imagine R82 will be able to support additional hardware as it will have an updated kernel version.

On dec 2025 checkpoint delivered HP DL380 G11. Now it is certified to work with R82 and R82.10. This server support only UEFI boot mode and sk168335 tells only legacy bios is supported.

For checkpoint support, uefi is not a valid installation and for my local checkpoint pre sales enginer uefi is now completely supported

I was able to install gaia using a usb formatted as "uefi checkpoint appliance" and using a dvd installation media

Im still working with checkpoint to get all information related to install on this new server

I've also seen UEFI installations work in virtualized environments.
I suspect the reason we didn't support it in the past was the Linux kernel version.
Now, I see no reason why UEFI shouldn't work.
