we changed the setting for the rx-ringsize buffers on a gateway and now we want to reset them to default.

Is there a way to remove the command in clish?

Does it show in clish: show configuration ?

You should find something like:

set interface <interface name> rx-ringsize 1024

I would say then remove the line, save config and reboot.

If this not work then use the above command to set it back to the original value.

Not sure what it was, probable 256, depending on the hardware. Change would be then:

clish

set interface Lan3 rx-ringsize 256

save config

exit

There is but then you have to make a full copy of the show configuration.

Remove the rx-ringsize lines and paste all config back.

But to high impact so I would suggest the second option I suggested previously.

if we paste all the lines except that one it still appears. I am not understanding something...

Thanks. I can explicitly set it back to the default, but I would rather not have it set manually at all
