Hi all

Does anybody know what's about the performance for the vsec installed in the open server? I only find the througput of the vsec while not CPS and concurrent sessions capacity. Hope you could share your knowledge if you know them. Thanks in advance.

What did you mean with vsec?

an gateway running on VMware NSX, a virtual machine as gateway in Azure or AWS, the integration with VMware vcenter....

a lot of products are named with vsec or newly as Cloudguard.

Not only that it depends on the hardware you’re running on, the VM server, the hyper visor, exact version of CloudGuard IaaS, etc.
A good (but not perfect) proxy would be to look at a similarly configured Check Point appliance.

Thank you for your reply.

Our customer wants to know the maximum performance of CPS and concurrent sessions, just like using the Security Gateway Software 32 Cores NGTP. I also know it should be concerned with the hosted machine. Then, do you know or get the refered performance result ever tested in any other platform? Thanks a lot!

Concurrent sessions is entirely a function of RAM. CPS varies on a few factors, including the underlying hardware. R80.20 code should be significantly better in terms of CPS as well.
