If this installation has a long history of updates and upgrades, a fresh install might help a lot ! Just save the GAiA settings using show configuration (see sk108902: Best Practices - Backup on Gaia OS) and install the version and Jumbo needed.

Hello,

disk space on our security gateways is filling up.
Checked already sk91060 and sk60080.
Running the script from sk91060 gained a few MB, and sk60080 is marked as outdated (only for R773.0 and below).

We identified the following folder containing > 24.000 logs of the last years, size varies between some KB and 2 MB:

5.9G /opt/CPInstLog/DIlogs

Is it safe to delete at least the oldest files manually?

Regards

I would make sure to take backup/snapshot if you are going to delete those. I checked on my lab fw running R81.20 and files in that dir are mostly no bigger than 135 Kb. Now, every single one of them shows its da-Installer log, so I am fairly sure its safe to delete, but maybe better confirm with TAC.
