CDT for pushing files to Embedded Gaia Appliances?

Hi,

it is possible to push files via the CDT to Embedded Gaia appliances (which are managed via SmartProvisioning)?

We want to customize the Hotspot-Website in more detail using sk83700. The sk says, that we have to edit the files on every gateway.

So I thought, we could use the CDT on the Management, edit the specific files there and push it to all the Gateways?

Good idea? It this possible? Any other suggestions?

According to the SK, it should be possible: Central Deployment Tool (CDT)

At least it's not listed as a limitation.

Tsahi Etziony‌ can you confirm?

It's not supported with Gaia Embbeded, it's just for Gaia OS. Gaia Embedded is image based OS.

I agree that would be nice to be able to push there firmware image, but that's probaly not possible, since even now you cannot transfer image file to /storage/ folder and use it for upgrade in Upgrade wizard.

That's right - CDT cannot communicate with GAIA Embedded (SMB) devices.
