Hi community

I have one requirement from the customer running gateway

-gateway series 6000 running in data center firewall

enable blade IPS, firewall, and identity awareness

and now they want to enable the application control blade to control private applications only

example: their company has private applications (www.company1.com, privatedatabase.com)

So there any solution we can control the private applications with the application control blade? example like cloning

application?

As I know so far application control is use only with public application

Ex: facebook.com

Yes - you need to write your own application signature then. Search of ACST tool and you should be able to do it sk103051

You can create Custom Application/Site objects that leverage App Control for access to web resources.
This may require HTTPS Inspection to be enabled as well (depending on your precise requirements).
