Checkpoint IPSec VTI interface not failing over and DPD not working properly.

We are facing a challenge with IPSec connectivity fail-over between primary VTI and Secondary VTI in route based VPN and Dead peer detection not working properly. Need help.

2. The info is not enough for providing you with any guidance. Please provide more details: GW versions, configuration, VTI settings, actual situation, troubleshooting steps you did already, observed symptoms, etc.

Is the peer a 3rd party / different vendors gateway?

Note before R81 on the gateway DPD is not the default in this scenario.
