    <description>&lt;P&gt;SmartView Tracker only displays either the opened log file or the most recent log file.&lt;BR /&gt;Indexing only applies to SmartView and/or R8x versions of SmartConsole.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Why it’s not showing you the file you opened, I have no idea.&lt;BR /&gt;That said R77.30 is long out of support.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Open past log file in Smartview tracker</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;HI,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to open a log file from 2019 in SmartView tracker in R77.30.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I managed to move the log file (2019-MM-Date.log)&amp;nbsp; from syslog archive to&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;$FWDIR/log&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;directory, ran&amp;nbsp;fw repairlog &amp;lt;Log File Name&amp;gt; and&amp;nbsp;fw log &amp;lt;Log File Name&amp;gt;. I can see the log file in Smartview tracker from "Open Log file".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When I open the log file it shows from present days and goes back only a few months and nothing from 2019.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;What do I need to do see 2019 logs from Smartview tracker? Do I need to change indexing? If so can someone please share how to run log indexing in R77.30 version?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
