Hello All,

I have an old gateway and policy in our environment that we have now decommissioned. The gateway has been physically disconnected and now I want to remove them out of the smartconsole. I am running R81.10 on my console and my other gateways. The gateway we removed was running R77.20. Can I simply remove the policy and the device from the console as outlined here:

https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk15319

or is there some other way I need to remove these?

Thanks,

Scott

I would also apply "Where Used" on the Security Gateway object to see all the references it has - in other objects, policies and rules.

In some cases you might have to replace it with a different Security Gateway (not to leave the value as Any or None)
