Dear Check mates

I have checkpoint R80.40 7K Gateway and I want a topology change previously my firewall external zone is connected to a router and I want to change this physical connectivity to a core switch. For the test purpose I create a new external zone and physically connect the firewall and the core switch and it was successful so I want to migrate the previous zone and policies attached to this zone to the newly created is there any documentation how to do that please?

According to sk128572: What are Security Zones? : When you assign a network interface of a Security Gateway to a Security Zone, you can then use the Security Zone objects in the Source and Destination columns of the Rule Base.

So you should assign the new IF to your old Security Zone.
