Platform Administration Portal to "ClusterXL VIP"

I have a ClusterXL with 2 security gateways. R81.10

I want to set this:

to my "VIP". The config takes but I am unable to access the URL despite an allow all rule in FW policy or setting accessibility to all internal interfaces. All status icons are green on the cluster so I don't understand.

I'm also unable to ping the VIP, but to my understanding that is expected.

I had "Virtual MAC address" selected and this seemed to start making it respond, but what I get is GAIA - not the "web version" of SmartConsole - which is what I expected.

Ok, so just to clarify...web version of smart console would be https://x.x.x.x/smartconsole link and its only on mgmt server. Now, as far as cluster, if you have VIP there, there is no reason why it would not work, as long as its allowed. You can try below, just as a simple test:

From current master clish:

set web daemon-enable off

save config

set web daemon-enable on

save config
