Hello,

We use checkpoint 5100 series,

also we use ADVICE UPS devices,

is there any way to automatic shutdown the FW on power failure after the UPS is start to work on the battery?

lets say after 10 minutes after the UPS is starting to work on the battery?

most of the time when I have power failure gaia system is broken (reboot loop)

How will the UPS communicate the power failure to the GW ? You can shutdown the 5100 using e.g. SSH.

- check power failure with raspi sensor

- raspi shutdown FW using command over SSH

perhaps you can try something like this:

if UPS supports API, send an "run script" API call to the management server

then, ask the management to run a script on the relevant gateway that shuts it down.

can the UPS send snmp traps ? then send a trap to the snmp server and start everything from the snmp server
