vsx reconfigure for non-dmi gateways

Hi all

I'm preparing the upgrade process for a non-dmi gateways , I'm forced to do a clean install upgrade and then reconfigure.

As my understanding the steps must be the following

1- clean install

2- configure IP address on physical interface to set up SIC with management

3- If SIC is established ok , execute vsx_util reconfigure from management

During step 3 , vsx config transferred to the gw will create a wrp interface and it will move management IP address from physical to this logical interface , is that correct?

Is there any documentacion about this procedure? I've been looking for some official documentation about it , but I don't have found anything.
