Make a CheckPoint Snap shot / Backup and import to different model

Hello,

I have a Checkpoint 5200 standalone installation appliance.

And we plan to upgrade it to Checkpoint 5600.

Might I know if the snapshot exported from 5200 can be imported to 5600 directly?

If can't, will the 5200's license also be restored after I import the backup file from 5200 to 5600?

Hi @MTS ,

one of the limitation of snapshot is - "Snapshot and Revert operations must be performed on appliances of the same model."
