Automated deployment with config_system template - dry run fails

Hi,

I'm attempting to learn the ways of automating the deployment of appliances with the ISOmorphic tool. I'm attempting to do a deployment using the advanced option where it runs the config_system and uses the file I create. However, everytime I attempt to do a 'dry-run', it states

Validating configuration file: failed

Machine is already installed

Is this normal or is there an issue with my config file? If it's an issue how can debug or validate the file? Is there a log that records what the dry run issue is?

That message is because config_system won't validate a file on a machine which has already been through the first-time wizard. It isn't able to reconfigure this exact box, so it reports a failure. Try building a new VM at the version you want to deploy, and do a dry-run there.

@Bob_Zimmerman is 100% correct. It will never work if first time wizard was already done.
