Cluster XL between two gateways on VMware/ESX works as you would expect. Recommend unicast mode and ensuring dedicated resources for the nodes and a reliable time source.

Hello Mates
We are going to be migrating some of our sites from checkpoint appliances which are running in HA mode to virtual gateways.
I was wondering how we would implement High Availability in the virtual world as traditional HA does not seem to be available on the virtual gateways.
We would have two ESX servers and would be running the virtual gateways there.
Would we rely on the VM servers to manage the fail over between gateways should there be a problem with the virtual gateway or the VM server itself?
If there is any documentation around how this is achieved I would appreciate a link to it.
Many Thanks
