Hello,

First of all, my personal gratitude to the pals at CP that finally added commands 'll' and 'tailf'! 😀

Then, someone else added another feature that is auto-saving some SecureXL rules (fwaccel dos rate ....) and they are restored on reboot.

This kind of brakes my day-to-day bad habit of temporarily blocking offending networks (until next reboot for example).

So, I am wondering if there is any way to disable this auto-saving thingy ?

Please look into sk112454 for dos rule management. It is version specific. Saving is by design. You may want to add flushing those saved rules on boot, but in normal situation, dos rules should survive reboot.

The command "fwaccel dos rate delete all" will remove the saved rules.

Thanx. But it is more simple to say this is not supported and recommend to clear rule base on boot in e.g. /etc/rc.d/rc.local.user no matter it is not very elegant 😉
