Sorry for this long delay.

I have tested the SDSL connection with a SMB device and it worked out of box.

Hey Checkmates,

I need to setup a new environment with an synchronious DSL (known as SDSL) internet connection. I only read about VDSL and ADSL in checkpoint products, but nothing about SDSL connectivity.

Of course there is a SDSL modem running, but in a test the connection with a 3600 appliance could not be established with PPPoE.

So, do you know any business appliance which supports SDSL connections?

Thanks you!

The only appliances with any direct DSL support are SMB appliances.
None of them have SDSL support currently.

How precisely are you trying to make this work with a 3600?
What precise steps have you taken?
Anything interesting in /var/log/messages?
What version/JHF?
