Need info on Check Point Sandblast TE appliance

How are the Check Point Sandblast TE appliances configured? Is there any documentation on how these are set up and how they work? It seems there is very little information on using these devices available online. I would like to learn how they work and how to install/administer them.

Threat Emulation appliances run Gaia OS like regular Security Gateways and are managed/maintained more or less the same way.
TE appliances typically receive files to emulate from Security Gateways and are thus not deployed inline.
You create a specially configured gateway object for it and configure the Threat Prevention profile to send emulations to the appliance.
The Threat Emulation engines are updated from our cloud automatically.
