Can you send the output of ps -auxw command, as that would show us which process(es) would be consuming higher amount or memory.

Hi guys!

I am working on a security gateway, to be specific about a 6600.

The detail is that for ten days it has had an increase in use of the ram memory, it has not presented operating problems so I am concerned to know that it may arrive to collapse.

To answer usefully, we would need to know exactly what property you are monitoring. Check Point firewalls are just Linux servers, and Linux has several different ways to report memory usage, and each of them count different things as "free" and "used".

What software version and JHF level?

Note the 6600 series can have up to 32G RAM installed.

Recommend troubleshooting with TAC and depending upon the outcome consider upgrading the amount of installed RAM to either 16G or 32G.
