Hello,

We have a checkpoint firewall version R80.10 (jumbo HF: version R80.0.10 Take 42).

Since two days we have some alerts on the temperature sensor. On the smartconsole , we can see that all the hardware sensors have the value "NotValid", and the status : "Read disabled" for temperature or "out fo normal bound" for FA=an and voltage.

Does someone experience the same issue ? how can we troobleshoot and fix this issue ?

Thanks for your help.

Lin

I added that in /var/log/messages we have the message "cpd : The value of sensor could not be read" repeated.

You may want to contact TAC for that, but I believe they may ask you to run hardware diagnostics, as that would certainly be part of determining exactly what could be wrong with the firewall hardware wise.

You’re running an almost End of Support release with a very old JHF.
Upgrading to a newer release, or at the very least the latest JHF, is recommended.
