Abstract

When performing an upgrade in place, some custom files can be overwritten or deleted.

In this particular example, we recover a customer script for scheduling policy installation from a snapshot made on a Security Management Server before upgrade.

Big thanks for this paper it helped me a lot to fix customer issues when I restored missing files. I told them before to backup those files but nobody listen...
