Looking for guidance on configuring resource controls on VSX gateways. Purpose is to limit a lower priority VS consuming too many resources and impacting that of a higher priority VS.

I have read sk162434 which says R80.30 with kernel 3.1 "is not supported due to known limitation". So we're running R80.40, I know you can review usage via CPView, but is control/configuration still done via the $FWDIR/conf/resctrl file? Or is there a new method now that kernel 3.1 uses Cgroups API?

The issue with Resource Control on VSX not being supported was specific to R80.30 with the 3.10 kernel.
I would assume since cpview itself is using cgroups, we're probably using it as well.
However, not familiar with the method we use now, will ask around.

I thought this was no longer available from R80.40 and above?
