You would need to use two port channels on the Cisco side, one to each firewall.

Hi All,

We are configuring the Bond interface bonding 2 Ten gig ports. We need to configure the VLANs under the bond interface. Is it possible? I do not see any config related to VLAN in bond interface config in any of the admin guide. Please help me with any of the link if we can acheive the above.

Regards,

Sanjay S

Hi @Sanjay_S,

Use the GAIA Web GUI:

1) Create a bond interface with two interfaces.

--> Now select the operation mode:

2) Create VLAN's and add the bond interface.

Thanks Heiko, This is very helpful.

I have a query here. We have 2 Checkpoints in cluster connecting to the Cisco switch stack.

> We are planning to bond 2 interfaces on each of the firewalls.

> When it comes to Cisco switch stack it will be one bundle with 4 interfaces in one port channel.

Just want to understand will this work fine in the Active/Standby setup?

Regards,

Sanjay S
