Hello

For some reason when we run the command pdp idc status on a PDP gateway we see the below non-routable ip.

Any idea why this happens and how to troubleshoot/solve?

Identity Collector IP: 169.254.X.Y.

Identity Sources:
No information about identity sources

169.254.x.x addresses come from Windows PCs (usually, but not always) that are unable to get a DHCP address.
How this is propagating to pdpd, not sure.

Hm, cant say I ever seen that before...usually, that sort of IP as phoneboy said would mean that DHCP server is unavailable and of course, it would be non-routable. Just as a test, I ran it on mine and it shows no connected identity collectors, which is normal in my case. Any idea when this happened?

Would log a sr as this looks quiet strange.

By rebooting PDP gateway the issue was solved.

We will monitor if it happens again.
