Hi ,

Please advise about creating a Readonly account in Checkpoint Gaia. R80.1

Currently we have admin account only, Security team requested to creat readonly account.

You don't need to create one as one already exists: monitor.
It exists exactly for this purpose and is Read Only.
You can either use that account or create a new one that has Read Only permissions.

This works for a CP 1550 running on R80.20.20 ? if yes what credentials do you use for monitor ?

I have created a read only admin account for testing purpose and i want only to access the LOGS&MONITORING only but, i didn't find a way to limit the permission.

No, R80.20.20 is SMB Gaia embedded, which is a different OS

On SMB appliances, you can only create a "read only" user, which provides access to see all the configuration (including the logs).
There is no way I am aware of to limit this to only the logs.
