Blink Image (Gaia Fast Deployment) for R80.20 GA not supported on Sandblast appliances

I was planning to do a re-install of my TE100X appliance. But in Blink Image (Gaia Fast Deployment) for R80.20 GA Download Details, Sandblast Appliances are not listed under Model. The Upgrade/Download Wizard only lists R77.30 for the TE100X and other Sandblast Threat Emulation appliances (TE250X, TE1000X, TE2000X) - but HW Type Threat Emulation appliances has TE250, TE1000 and TE2000 models that support R80.10, R80.20 and R80.30 !

Now Checkpoint has confirmed that Blink is not supported on Sandblast appliances. The Upgrade/Download Wizard will be updated for R80.10 and R80.20 (?).

Strange ! I had used the R80.10 GA version for install...

I know it's possible to run R80.x on Threat Emulation appliances but it's not GA yet.
That would explain why Blink isn't supported to upgrade.

R80.30 is avaible and supported for TE250X by now. sk120193 still only lists "2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 12000, 13000, 15000, 21000, 23000" as supported appliances, Blink R80.30 Download lists "23800, 23500, 21800, 21700, 21600, 21400, 15600, 15400, 13800, 13500, 12600, 12400, 12200, 5900, 5800, 5600, 5400, 5200, 5100, 4800, 4600, 4400, 4200, 3200, 3100, 2200". Still now TE100X, TE250X, TE1000X or TE2000X. Any idea if R80.30 Blink works for SandBlast – or why not?

I guess, you mean "Still no", not "still now".

Quoting from SK you mention: "Each Blink image has a different hardware support according to the ISO it is based on".

Blink is not an installation image. It does not deploy OS and product components. Instead, it copies over files relevant to a clean installed environment, on a pre-existing and properly provisioned file system.

Threat Emulation images, and also TE deployed systems are very different from standard Gaia based MGMT/GWs. I would be very surprised if we ever did have TE Blink variants.
