I suspect this is an artifact of when the HTTPS Inspection policy was only a single layer, not separate layers as it is now.
The Inbound policy does allow you to accept a Server (not CA) cerficicate.

R82.10 HTTPS Inspection - Multiple certificates in outbound policy?

R82.10 T45, Smart Console 468.

I wanted to test multiple certificates in the HTTPS Inspection policy (outbound) as I understand it's a new feature of R82.10.

Whilst I can create or import multiple Trusted CA for HTTPS Inspection, I can't select them in the outbound policy.

Whenever I expand "Outbound certificate" to choose another one for a specific rule, I get a blank list with "No items found".

I tried to create new outbound CA but the picker remains empty after publishing.

Did I misunderstand the feature or is it an issue?

It's a misunderstanding of the feature, which is to allow you to configure an outbound CA per gateway.
Previously, the outbound CA was per SMS/Domain.

What's the goal of the certificate picker in the outbound policy then?
