Why Standby SMS show No communication ?

Hi,

My customer standby SMS show " No Communication, Communication with dr-sms failed since ****".

I cannot open smartconsole to this standby sms.

From Active SMS server, standby SMS SIC communication is OK. 　

Is there any possible reason cause this problem ?

did you check if all the services are running on the standby SMS? (cpwd_admin list)

Hi,

Is there an error when connecting to the Standby SMS with SmartConsole?
Is there a firewall located between Active and Standby SMS? If so, anything changed there?

Check with tcpdump to see if traffic between servers if flowing as expected.

Can you ping between the machines, how are the date/time settings is ntp in sync?

Thank you all.

Both active sms and standby sms are in the same subnet. Time are correct and in sync with ntp.

Checking standby sms cpwd_admin list looks like the same with active sms.

I checked standby sms $FWDIR/scripts/cpm_status.sh and it show failed. So I reboot standby sms. After reboot, standby is back to normal. Nice~
