topic Checkpoint VSX with Both L2 (Bridge mode) VS and L3 VS in Firewall and Security Management

Hello Team,

As part of a new deployment, we would like to create two Virtual Systems (VS) in a VSX chassis:

One VS in Bridge Mode (Layer 2)

One VS in Layer 3 mode

We want both VSs to share a common outside interface through a Virtual Switch (VSW).

The Bridge Mode VS will transparently pass VLANs 106, 107, and 109, while the Layer 3 VS will route a separate L3 VLAN.

Please review the attached topology for reference and confirm whether this design is a viable solution. If yes, kindly guide us with the required configuration steps, specifically how to:

Connect the bridge interfaces of the L2 VS to the Virtual Switch

Simultaneously connect the Warp interface of the L3 VS to the same Virtual Switch

Your prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think we can do bridges through VSwitches, so you probably need separated trunks for layer 2 vs layer 3.
