problem upgrade our Secure Management server from R82 take 60 to R82.10_T464_GiaA_Install_Upgrade

Hi,

I ran into problem upgrade our firewall Security Management server from R82 to latest R82.10 because of diskspace not enough.

I was able to upgrade our Security gateways HA to latest R82.10 take 22.

Any1 has any suggestion how to cleanup or increase our Firewall Management server running as VM in Windows Hyper-V? and how to increase the diskspace?

From Windows Hyper-V, I can increase the VM disk size but I don't know how to claim that spare space in GaiA system.

You can use LVM manager to claim the spare space in Gaia. sk95566

This is the correct way. Either clean up stuff, like snapshots, old backups or cpinfo's etc. Maybe some left over migrate export. Or extend the diskspace

One alternative way is to search any dir for certain file size. Example, say you want to see any files bigger than 500Mbs in /var/log:

from expert -> find /var/log -size +500M

Given this is a virtual machine, you're probably better off setting up a new VM and migrating the database over to a fresh R82.10 install with enough disk space for future use.

I would always prefer that approach to management anyway.
We never perform management upgrades other than with migrate export and import.
