SmartEvent R80 is an integral part of R80 management server installation. It can also reside on a dedicated server.

If you have an existing SmartEvent R77.x, you can upgrade its event database to SmartEvent R80 by following an export/import procedure. This procedure will be published once R80 is officially released.
