Multicast passing through VPN

Hi everyone,

Id like to hear from anyone who had some experience with multicast traffic going through an NextGen or Small Business appliance and entering a VPN, is it possible? Anything specific in VPN configuration.

All the network equipment is CP, some switch maybe in between.

Im not an expert, but good level understanding and practice.

Multicast in general requires a proxy/relay of sorts since it is not meant to be relayed across a Layer 3 boundary.
Specifically with VPN on Check Point, it is not supported.
