    <description>&lt;P&gt;You may try to resize the current partition using LVM manager as per&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;sk95566.&lt;BR /&gt;I would do a backup/migrate export using R80.40 tools, install R80.40 from scratch using sufficient partition sizes and then import the database.&lt;BR /&gt;Best practises? Dunno. I usually use round about 50 GB for root.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;edit: I see you have this open server as gateway. So forget suggested migration tools.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've a OpenServer Dell&amp;nbsp; running R80.20 JHF183 configured security gateway.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to upgrade to R80.40 via CPUSE.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Via Verifier results ( Check Point R80.40 Gaia Fresh Install and upgrade ) I got follow error message:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;U&gt;Verifier results&lt;/U&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Package: Check Point R80.40 Gaia Fresh Install and upgrade&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;U&gt;Clean Install:&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Installation is allowed.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;U&gt;Upgrade:&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The following results are not compatible with the package:&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;- Machine is an Open Server&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;- Machine's configuration is 'Security Gateway'&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;- &lt;STRONG&gt;The size of partition root (lv_current) is 17.00GB.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Looks like your firewall has ~128 GB SSDs? If so, oof. Even firewalls want ~200 GB or more now. My personal lab standalone has a 400 GB SSD with 60 GB in lv_current, then I made lv_log as big as I could with the remaining space.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for Feedback - I did sk95566 and expand up to 22GB - the max. After then upgrade to R80.40 JHF89 was fine&amp;nbsp; -every thing works good.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Danke&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BR Thomas&lt;/P&gt;</description>
