CME adding an azure account

Hi,

I'm configuring an ingress rule on Azure NVA and finding it difficulty with CME. My understanding is before adding Post Add azure ingress rule in Postman, Add an Azure account is required?

I have all the required info to set this up like subscription id, directory id and application id however I do not know how to get the "Client secret"

I attached the screenshot, could someone help me with this please?

I use autoprov-cfg more than the api but this should help (also see attached):

autoprov-cfg init Azure -mn CP-Management -tn Azure-VMSS-Lab-Template -otp Checkpoint123 -ver R81.20 -po Azure-VMSS-Policy -cn Azure-VMSS-Lab-Controller -sb azure-subscription -at active-directory-tenant-id -aci client-id

-acs client-secret

-sb “<azure-subscription>”

-at “<active-directory-tenant-id>”

-aci “<client-id>”

-acs “<client-secret>”

Hi,

the Client secret is from the Application you created. you need to create a new secret for it (Attached screenshot)

Thanks for the reply. We have on-prem MGMT station. Seems we have to register it to Azure Enterprise app? If yes, do you have a guide/steps to register?

Is the NVA a VMSS gateway?

You have not given a lot of information and are asking for support. Normally Support would want to know what version, deployment type and other details to efficiently help you.

Have you been using this Deployment Guide?
