      <title>R81.20 and AWS ami</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Not that I'm planning to do this but.... Is it true that now with the latest R81.20 AWS AMI, that we could theoretically update to a new major version like R81.30 or even R82.10 while still using the same AMI (not creating a totally new gateway)? &amp;nbsp; Or&amp;nbsp; is it still supported to only do minor updates like R81.20 JHF 26 to JHF 41 for example?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;JHF installation has been supported for a while.&lt;BR /&gt;In-place upgrades to different versions have been supported from R80.30 in some, but not all scenarios.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk177714" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk177714&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;explains the process and the configurations where this is supported.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I assume this will be available for future releases as well.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
