We don't work with nsx or aci.

How does cloudguard works with VM on Kvm, VM on vsphere, barmetal, k8s containers ?

What's the différences between cloudguard and Vsec ?

Good question.

i have spinned up a Cloudguard for vmware (VSEC) in a cluster.

We are using traditional vlan segmentation of the same reason as you by not using NSX or ACI.

I plan to do firewalling between vlan subnets and only allow traffic between the networks.

Would be interesting to see (screenshots) what others are doing to segmenting/microsegmenting in such scenarios.

CloudGuard Network Security runs as a regular VM in a number of different hypervisors.
Outside of specific integrations with ACI or NSX, it won’t do microsegmentation.
There is a different solution coming for containers/workloads.
