Possibility to deploy single core in Huawei Cloud

Hi,

Since Huawei cloud is having VMs like s3.medium.2 which has only one vCPU, can we license 1 virtual core from check point product portfolio.

PS: BOM can be created with a 1 core.

Generally if the scenario involves blades other than FW only and low traffic volumes I wouldn't recommend a single vCPU outside of a lab environment.

Ok Clear thanks for the quickest respond. Just for the understanding, if any case there are no big traffic and using limited functions like firewalling a we can license single core, can't we???

Hi,
We do not support the use of a single cove deployments. The minimal number of cores we support is 2 vCores (this recommendation is vendor agnostic - AWS, Azure, GCP, Huawei, Ali... - 2 vCores minimum).
