The script guides the administrator through key steps such as defining the interoperable device, publishing changes, and installing the security policy. This method can be especially useful in scenarios where SmartConsole access is limited or unavailable, or when you want to perform configurations directly via CLI. It also provides better visibility into how Interoperable Device configurations are handled behind the scenes. Before executing the script, make sure to assign execution permissions using chmod +x filename, and always validate in a lab environment before production use.
