Why this DNS server

I have created an easy Windows DNS server to quickly and easily answer DNS queries in lab environments. It allows you to quickly create DNS A and MX records and resolve the corresponding IP addresses for a host. DNS queries that cannot be resolved locally are forwarded to a defined DNS server.
This tool is ideal when you need to integrate a DNS server into lab environments in a simple and uncomplicated way.

Features

- Resolve local DNS A and MX records to IP addresses
- Forwarding to a configured DNS server
- No configuration files required
- No daemon installation required
- Windows App

It's worth noting we have dnsmasq integrated in Gaia...have for many versions, and it's actually supported as of R82.
In earlier versions, you can enable/use it with: https://phoneboy.org/2014/09/02/fun-with-check-point-dynamic-ip-gateways-in-r77-dot-20-with-gaia/
