How to Write How-to Guides
If you want to write anything such as a page that explains a specific topic, or a how-to guide or anything else which is not a question or a new discussion, you might want to do it by creating a new web document. A web document is not a MS Word or PowerPoint document (though these are possible as well). It is more like a wiki page actually.
Well, these are very easy to create also. Go to any specific forum and click the "Write a document" button
Now, write a descriptive title, write your content and click the "Post" button at the bottom.
Be sure to add any descriptive tags. They are great tools. See Tags - Simple but powerful. How to use them? for more info
